The Headliners Foundation of Texas, Inc., is a non-profit corporation, created in 1983, by the Board of Trustees of the Headliners Club to promote excellence in journalism.

It is the only foundation in Texas dedicated solely to promoting a fair, responsible and free press. The Foundation pursues this goal by awarding prestigious annual prizes for achievements by Texas press and broadcast journalists, as well as numerous undergraduate scholarships at various Texas universities.
