About The Headliners Club
Rooted in journalism, The Headliners Club remains a pinnacle of sophistication, known not only for its striking unparalleled panoramic views of Austin and the Hill Country, but for its storied membership of notable leaders, visionaries and celebrated community.
The Club was founded in Austin, Texas, by Charles E. Green, the long-time Executive Editor of the Austin American-Statesman, as a welcoming space for those who make the headlines and those who write them. The Club’s name reflects its mission of bringing together newsmakers and storytellers. It was originally located in the historic Driskill Hotel, later moved to the Westgate Building near the Texas Capitol, and now resides on the 21st floor above downtown Austin at Sixth and Lavaca. Today, The Headliners Club is recognized as the city’s premier milieu for fine dining, elegant entertaining, and distinguished professional gatherings in a gracious and convivial setting.

At its core, The Headliners Club is about fostering meaningful relationships among those who are making a difference in Austin. The design celebrates The Headliners Club's strong legacy while providing an improved space for members to gather and cultivate lifelong connections. A mix of elegant spaces provides a variety of opportunities for members to gather, whether that’s for a casual drink or a large event celebrating a major milestone. The new design also highlights the Headliners’ exceptional views of the city, giving members a look outward to the living history of Austin, happening right outside their windows.
